How We Check Cooking Course Prices
Last read
Cookweeks lists 88 courses from 54 schools in Italy; 77 have a published price. This is how each row is made.
Sources
We read the school’s or operator’s own website. For a few programmes sold only through an agency, we use the agency’s page and say so in the course note. We do not use search snippets, review sites or our memory.
What we copy
- The price exactly as written, the currency, and what it is per (per person, per group, double room, plus VAT).
- A short quote of the price text, shown on the course card, so you can find it on the school’s page.
- Length, hands-on hours, group size, languages, what is included, certificate, season and minimum age, only when the page states them. Anything not stated is left blank.
- The page address and the date we read it.
Comparing prices
Charts and “from” prices use per-person prices only; per-group prices are shown on the cards but not compared. US dollar and pound prices are converted to euros at the European Central Bank reference rate of 2026-10-30 (1 € = US$1.1172, £0.8338). The median is the middle published price.
What we leave out
- Schools whose site we could not read, or that no longer run classes.
- Prices for courses that a page says have ended.
- Ratings: we do not show star ratings, because we cannot check how they were collected.
Updates
We re-read every price at least every 90 days and before the spring season. Schools can send corrections to contact@cookweeks.com with a link to their page. You can also browse all schools.
